Nu-Tank water tank chosen to help protect endangered plant

How many people do you know have installed a water tank to preserve an endangered plant?

In October 2019, the team from the Capricorn Caves purchased and installed a Nu-Tank slimline water tank to preserve the endangered Tectaria Devexa fern.

According to their Facebook page “Capricorn Caves is home to the rare fern Tectaria Devexa, we are dedicated to preserving this delicate fern so today the team are installing rain water tanks to enable better access to water supply in the Caves for staff to water it. Capricorn caves is most likely the last refuge for this endangered plant in Australia.”

It’s great to see another local business like the Capricorn Caves dedicated to the environment.

Nu-Tank’s slimline range is available in two sizes, 3000L and 5000L’s. All our tanks are made from UV stabilised virgin grade materials built to withstand Australia’s harshest conditions. Available in more than 20 colours.
